Ozone therapy has been on the forefront in medicine and we use it as a adjunct and treatment in our office:

• Sterilize our water  in our irrigation units

• Sterilize the gingival pockets in periodontal patients- it minimizes bioburden that is processed by the body in the bloodstream and allows the gingival structures to reattach and heal after therapy

• Sterilize caries (cavity preparations) to minimize tooth sensitivity and reduce the amount of tooth structure removed.

Silver Diamine Fluoride was FDA cleared in 2016 for tooth sensitivity and in 2018 for arresting caries (cavities). The treatment is a non-invasive ideal treatment to treat interproximal decay, root caries, and occlusal decay limited to the enamel. 

This is the one time you can actually heal caries. The caries must be in the enamel for it to re-mineralize.
 

Therapeutic Botox (Xeomin) is an excellent treatment to reduce pain and minimize damage to our joints and tooth structures. Most patients will go through periods in their lives that they clench and/or grind their teeth and it can cause mild to severe destruction of tooth structure. Bruxism can worsen present bone loss, it can cause tooth sensitivity and it can completely destroy a patients dentition.

We are privileged to have CADCAM technology that allows us to scan our patients during their appointment and design their restoration in-office. Its an accurate service for the patient and it limits chair time and missed days at work. Patients don't need to wear a temporary solution while we send impressions out to the lab. Inlays are a unique procedure that most dentists do not provide because you truly need CADCAM technology to deliver this procedure effectively.
